今《東京夢華錄》

《東京夢華錄》記載北宋徽宗年間開封城的一段歷史，描繪了這時期居住在東京的上至王公貴族、下及庶民百姓的日常生活情景。書中更提及到市中心處百多家不同店鋪，相互爭鳴，實繁盛一時，。

現代連鎖店構成的都市景觀，呈現全球化及資本市場下刻板的面貌。大都會是否必然摧毀個體戶？個體與大眾；保育與發展；對抗與包容是必然的對立？店鋪的買賣行為本質地築起人民一大部分的生活文化，進而形成大眾的價值觀。這意味著，個性正從街道起被消磨泯滅。

走到街頭拍下連鎖店營業時的影片，也為個體店拍下關門時的照片，並將二者結合。今《東京夢華錄》的影像，是一己對香港未來街頭的預示及慨嘆。

Present《Reminiscences of the Eastern Capital》

《Reminiscences of the Eastern Capital》records a period of history about Kaifeng in Northern Song Dynasty under Emperor of Hui-tsung. The Book depicts scenes of daily life from the nobility to the ordinary people. It also mentions that there are more than 100 different stores situated in the center of the city. This is the time truly contending and prosperous.

Cityscape constructed by modern chain stores show rigid outlook under globalization and the capital market. Does Metropolises inevitably destroy individual operators? Individuals and the general public; conservation and development; resistance and tolerance are consequential contradiction? Trading behavior in stores form majority part of human living culture, as well as values of the public. It means that personality is gradually being worn down.

By going down the streets for filming opening chain stores and taking photos for closing small stores, I will combine the both and make a video. Present 《Reminiscences of the Eastern Capital》expresses my thoughts towards streets of Hong Kong in future and also my lament.

拾回的菲林

某次在一位老婆婆擺的地攤上，見到一部相機，內有菲林。想知道是甚麼照片，於是買了將之沖曬。後來就開始在牌檔、地攤或二手店尋找被遺棄或丟失的菲林，讓照片重見天日，也算是替別人保存記憶。

1. Praktica Super Zoom 1200AFD
這是第一部在地攤買的相機，當時我甚至不知道原來有 Praktica 這品牌。當時只見到相機內有菲林，屏幕顯示 “E”，我甚至不知道是甚麼意思。然後到了附近的二手點拿支原子筆按「回捲」，取出菲林，沖曬。

事後回想，第一次能如此順利也算幸運，比方說，相機不會沒有電池或壞掉（這就需要自行把菲林抽出來回捲），菲林還保留影像，以上種種都是做這件作品時常見的情況。


2,3,4,5
這四卷菲林當中有兩卷是單獨購買的，另外有兩卷就是在相機中偷偷取出來。當時還未有很完整的想法，於是只取菲林。其中一卷是從一部單鏡反光機中捲出來，照片中也疊了一些攤檔的影像。


曬相
大部份菲林片都是在長沙灣元州商場內的沖曬店處理的，主要因為近自己家以及便宜。剛開始時我只會一筒一筒的把菲林拿去沖曬，到後來收得多了便一次過拿十筒八筒去。為了方便識別我會貼上標籤，並叫老闆幫我按次序沖曬，老闆索性菲林筒連菲林及照片袋起來一併給我。

有一次老闆見我有那麼多菲林，問我是否試相機（他應該看見我標籤上的相機型號）。我告訴他是在收集二手相機的菲林，再將之沖曬。他問我為甚麼這樣做，我只好說我純粹「八卦」。他的回應是：「嘩你攞啲錢嚟八卦」。

逼遷
近幾個月商場開始有店舖結業，似乎是領匯意圖逼走，後來就見到沖曬店也貼上「清貨減價」，我便問老闆狀況如何。起初老闆都沒有頭緖，因為領匯方面又不表明不續約，他主動要求談續約事宜時又沒有回覆。

後來每次曬相我都會問問進展如何，一直也是不置可否，繼續「清貨減價」，只知道例如對面的鞋店被「放生」了因為有其他店舖結業，多了點空位。又或是老闆已經在附近尋找合適的鋪位卻又未有。到最近終於續了三個月的短期租約，但領匯表明如有商戶對其鋪位有興趣就不再續約。

垂直種植系統

油麻地花王伙拍街坊妹叔共同研究一種適用於香港家居的垂直種植系統

統，運用創意及心思，實踐價廉、環保、善用棄物的種植方案，自己動手美化家居及天台等生活空間。種植系統適合種植輕盈的小作物，包括日常烹調常用的香草、辣椒、蔥、豆芽、小番茄，及一般觀賞植物等。展覽期間會免費派發垂直種植系統的製作說明書。

In this project, we will jointly invent a vertical planting system with Yau Ma Tei’s resident – Uncle Mui, in which to pratice a cheap, environmental friendly and up-cycling planting method by our creativity, thus to beautify living spaces by ourselves, such us home and rooftop. The system is suitable to plant small plants, such us herbs, chili, spring onion, bean sprout, cherry tomatoes, and even ornamental plants. During the exhibition, we will distribute the instruction manual of vertical planting system to the public for free.
